Dr. Priyanka Verma is an Assistant Professor at the College of Business Administration, Fujairah University, UAE, and a sustainability-focused finance expert with over a decade of academic and professional experience. Her work centres on integrating green finance, ESG, ethical investing, and emerging technologies to advance the triple bottom line of People, Planet, and Profit (PPP). An engaged educator and research practitioner, she has taught students across India and the UAE and has actively contributed to the UAE’s authorised training ecosystem. She has trained professionals across sectors and supported development initiatives linked with the Central Bank of the UAE, with her work recognised for its practical relevance and ethical orientation.
As a SCOPUS-indexed researcher, Dr. Verma has developed sustainability assessment models, ESG frameworks, and decision-support tools that bridge theory and application. Her work has received international recognition, including registered industrial design contributions in the UK and Germany. She actively integrates AI, FinTech, and GreenTech into sustainable finance practice, with expertise in ESG analytics, climate-risk modelling, greenwashing risk identification, and data-driven sustainability assessment. She also brings strong capabilities in statistics, data analysis, and visualisation tools such as Power BI, enabling informed and responsible decision-making.
